Clean it regularly and with the right materials

Dirt and dust can gather on the metal surface, so make it a routine to keep your Metal Decor clean. A soft, dry cloth works well to wipe off the dust, but if there's a bit more grime, use lukewarm water or a mild soap solution to clean the surface. Be sure to avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners, as they can scratch or harm the powder coat and metal underneath.

  
After cleaning, rinse with clean water and be sure to wipe it dry with a soft dry cloth.

  
For outdoor items, be sure to remove any bird droppings as soon as possible to prevent potential permanent damage to the powder coat material.
  

Restoring The Shine

If your powder-coated Metal Decor loses its shine simply clean the surface as outlined above. Once cleaned, apply a thin layer of wax, similar to how you wax your car after washing it. After the wax dries, gently wipe it off to restore the item's original sheen.

When moving or hanging your Metal Decor, take care to avoid any bending or dents in the metal. If it's a sizable or heavy piece, it's a great idea to have a friend or professional help you to handle it safely.
